Tossing the Frisbee around is one of the great idyllic green pastimes

But just because the hippies' era has passed doesn't mean we can forget about being earth-friendly when we play. So here are some quick tips to green that round of Frisbee:

First, get a green disc?like one of these Frisbees that are made from recycled retail materials, or these Frisbees made with 60% post consumer recycled plastic.

1.If you're going to play disc golf, check out the Reflyer, a disc specially made recycled material (also post consumer recycled plastic).

2.Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated during your game?not wasteful, disposable bottled water.

3.Carpool to the park or better yet, bike or walk.

Enjoy the game?—it's classic green. And for more tips, check out Treehugger's guide to greening your outdoor sports.
